We went camping over the 4th of July with the family. The kids had so much fun playing games, riding the four wheelers and Cason and Zoie loved driving around in his "Monster Truck". We found a beautiful spot fulled with flowers and took so many pictures. I am always so inspired by the beauty of nature. I feel fortunate that we live in such a beautiful place.

For lunch we decided to make pigs in a blanket over the fire. Our bread was falling off and some were raw and some got a little black, but we laughed and had so much fun with our crazy antics. Isn't life Great!

Happy Birthday

Jashia just turned 15. We celebrated her birthday at in Heidi and Brandon's back yard. She is growing up so fast and can't wait until nex year to get to drive.

Flat Paige Youd

Paige had an assignment in school to draw a picture of herself
and see what adventures flat Paige would go on. She went through the
mail to Mesquite where Grandma and Grandpa Lassen took her on a four
wheeler ride, a picnic in the desert and to the valley of fire. She then went to
California to visit her cousins and do fun things with them.

Easter Fun

Heidi, Brandon and the kids came to Mesquite for Easter. We went on a Picnic for Easter and we all rode the four wheelers. Steve took the kids down to the river. Getting all wet was most of the fun. Drake got bunny ears from the Easter Bunny and if you look hard in the back ground you can see Kason going in and out of the doggie door. It was a lot more fun than going through the door.

Brett On Cruise

Brett has been deployed to the Persian Gulf f0r the next seven months so we will all miss him. He sent us a picture with him standing on the deck of the ship with all his live ordinances on his plane.

Newest member of the family

Drake is so cute in his new chair that helps him sit up. I can't believe is four months old already.

A day in Mexico

We spent a day in Mexico. All the kids tried on hats and Paige had to have one. We had dinner and the girs danced to the Mexican music. We had lots of fun!

Slab City

There is a place where a retired man has dedicated his life to making this wild place. It was where Patton trained his troops. He made the foundation out of straw and mud and has hundreds of gallons of paint. He was featured on the discovery network.

Birthday Celebrations

While we were in Yuma we celebrated Steves, Carter and Brett's birthdays. We only had one cake so we decided to put enough candles on for each birthday. We ended up with 102 candles. Everyone had to watch out for the wax all over the frosting.
